May-June: Offers extended for apprenticeship
July 18-22: Apprenticeship Bootcamp with ULEAD
August 2022: Students start apprenticeships upon return to school
September 2022: Monthly check-ins take place every first Tuesday of the month.

The employer is responsible for follow up with students
The employer will see that expectations of the workplace are being met
The employer will continue to track completed competencies to ensure students are on track
Work-based learning teachers and/or counselors will check in with the student once or twice during the summer. Educators can determine how they want to do this.
Horizon Education Alliance will be available to employers and schools if an issue arises. HEA will support as needed and communicate with the school contact.
HEA will also continue to communicate important information with the apprentices through email
Through a partnership between Horizon Education Alliance and CareerWise Colorado, Elkhart County has created an apprenticeship program to train the next generation. This educational opportunity will give high school students hands on training at participating businesses in the area.
