The Awards
Below is a list of the range of awards on offer at the Awards Evening on Friday 26th June.
The Awards were open to all Films unless referenced in the description.
The awards were decided by a panel of staff from Headington School, all with equal voting ability. The list of Panellists can be seen below the list of awards.
Best short film
This Award will be presented to the overall Best Short Film, nominated by the Awarding Panel.
The nominations were:

best dance film
This Award will be presented to the overall Best Dance Film, nominated by the Awarding Panel.

‘Into the Forest’ by Evie, Molly & Norni

best dRAMA film
This Award will be presented to the overall Best Drama Film, nominated by the Awarding Panel.

best concept film
This Award will be presented to the overall Best Concept Film, focusing on their interpretation and creative response to the theme of 'Discovery'. This award will be nominated by the Awarding Panel.

best Senior drama performance
This Award will be presented for the Best Individual Performance by a Drama Scholar in L5, U5, L6 or U6, nominated by the Awarding Panel.

This Award will be presented for the Best Use of Editing Skills in Post-Production, including sound, scene editing and special effects, nominated by the Awarding Panel.

This Award was decided by a public vote, for their favourite Film.

the director of dance award
This Award will be awarded by the Director of Dance, Miss Faith Jackson. The criteria for this award is at the discretion of the Director of Dance and will be announced at the Awards Evening.
This award was presented to Evie in U3, for her excellent performances in two films; 'A Bombing Like No Other' and 'Into The Forest'.
the director of dRAMA award
This Award will be awarded by the Director of Drama, Mr Phil Macken. The criteria for this award is at the discretion of the Director of Drama and will be announced at the Awards Evening.
This award was presented to Harriet, for her film 'Each Piece of a Puzzle' for creating an emotional history for a character through the use of previously recorded footage in her film.
