Wind Ensemble

The Nationally Ranked Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Ms Socha, is a senior ensemble that plays music at a challenging level. Members of this group play in school concerts, participate in Music Promotional days, compete in competitions and have the opportunity to work with well known guest conductors. Rehearsals take place Tuesday after school from 3:00 to 4:30 (5:00 before competitions) and there are rotating morning sectionals Wednesday morning before school from 7:30 to 8:00.

*Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year members of the Wind Ensemble must enroll in at least one Instrumental Music course after Grade 9 (i.e. 10 Music, Grade 11 Music)
