The Ontario Secondary School Diploma Graduation requirements are outlined including community involvement hours, eLearning credits and the OSSLT grade 10 assessment.  Resources for students and/or their families to secure additional supports and extra help are included.  The role of Guidance and Student Success is outlined.

  In Grade 9, students will take a minimum of  6 compulsories.  Grade 8 students at EJ James, Maple Grove, James W. Hill and W.H. Morden will receive course selection worksheets at school.  

Non-HDSB students will receive the course selection worksheet upon submitting their school registration to OTHS.

OTHS offers a full catalogue of elective course options for Grade 8 students to select from.  From Business to Technology, the Humanities, and all Creative Arts (Instrumental Music, Drama, and Visual arts) students can experience a breadth of opportunities.

PLEASE NOTE:  Non-feeder school students select courses after the registration process with OTHS is completed.  Course selection for students who attend our feeder schools will be completed within the grade 8 classrooms and in combination with students and their parents.
