Meet Your Captain 

Hello Learners & Families! 

Thank you for cruising over to this page to learn a little bit more about me.  I absolutely LOVE teaching and am proud to be starting my 15th year as an HDSB educator. I have enjoyed working in Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8, and SERT diving into all subject areas...math and language being my favourites =) This is my fifth year aboard Captain R. Wilson Public School and I couldn't be more excited to have all hands on deck! I just adore our connected community at CRW and am honoured to be a part of it. 

Outside of school my world revolves around my family. My husband Rafael and I have been married for 13 years and have two young daughters, Sierra and Lauren, who are the light of our life...we call them #Team SiLo! They love all things Disney, beach, animals, singing, and crafts. We enjoy travelling, going on nature walks, and reading together. When I am not with my family I am likely immersing myself in yoga, photography, shopping, or connecting with friends...any of which with a Starbucks in hand ;) 

So there is a little about your Captain for 2023-2024 =) I very much look forward to getting to know each and every member of our crew & their home teams throughout our year. May the waters ahead take us on the most magical journey together!
