Welcome Back to School, Awesome Grade 5/6 Crew!

Hi Parents and Students,

Welcome back to school! 🎉 I’m so excited to kick off an amazing year of learning, exploring, and having fun together. I can’t wait to see all of you in Portable #2 on Wednesday—it’s going to be our home base for the year!

For those who don’t know me yet, I’ve been teaching at Glenview Public School since 2013, and I’ve taught both Grade 5 and Grade 6. Before that, I started my teaching adventure back in 2003 at Lakeshore Public School—yep, I’ve been doing this for a while and I still love it!

This year, we’re going to work hard, learn lots of cool things, and have some fun along the way. One thing that really helps us succeed is communication. I’ll send regular email updates to parents with important info, and students will use their agendas every day to jot down homework, reminders, and notes.  For the students that are stuck with me again this year(!), the morning jokes of the day will be different, the art activities will be different, but I promise to make our class this year as welcoming, supportive, and conducive to learning as it was last year. I am so excited to welcome you all back to Portable #2.
