Francais

Mornings (periods 1-3) are always en francais. Students are expected to speak in French with the teacher and their peers during this time as French oral skills will only develop if they are using the language consistently on a daily basis. We will be doing many oral activities in French to encourage students to speak the language. Students will be asked to prepare monthly presentations as well in French.

As well, it is important that students are reading their French at home reading book every night as we learn a language through repetition. Their book must be returned for Friday as students will read their book to their reading buddy and complete a response to their reading in class on Friday mornings.
