In math class this year I had a great experience. I have really enjoyed all of the work we have done so far, particularly learning about interest earlier this semester and linear equations more recently.
I took a liking to learning about compound and simple interest for a few reasons. It was something new that I hadn't ever really heard of before and I thought it was unique because it is a type of math that can be applied to everyday life. I would also love to learn more about business and this unit helped introduce me to more new and interesting concepts.
I found linear equations enjoyable because it was something familiar to me. In earlier years my teachers have introduced us to this unit and I quite enjoy solving problems that involve linear equations. I enjoy the thrill of working through the equations and finding the answer. At first glance some equations can appear really challenging but I find that if I commit to them I realize how fun they can be which ultimately makes math more enjoyable.
I found that I grasped all of the math concepts quickly and easily without struggle. I feel that I have a good understanding of everything we have learned and that I will be able to apply these concepts in the future when needed.
Paying attention in class and keeping detailed notes helped me put my portfolio together efficiently and in a way that I am proud of. I feel that everything was laid out clearly and I elaborated as much as possible, resulting in a well created portfolio. I am really proud of myself and feel that I should receive a letter grade A - A+.
