A First Week Information Form provides your child(ren)'s educators with important information on how your child(ren) will be arriving at school. It also provides school dismissal information such as, walking home, childcare or taking the bus home.
The First Week Information Form is required for all Kindergarten Students before the first day of school. Email your completed form to the school contact jenningsj@hdsb.ca
Students can arrive at the school at 8:55 and join their teacher in their kindergarten outside play area of the school. Parents and caregivers park their car in the designated area on the west side of the school.
Families are encouraged to walk their child(ren) to school. Please use the crossing guards if you must cross the street. Then safely walk your child(ren) to the outside kindergarten play area to join their educators and classmates for the beginning of their school day. Supervision begins at 8:55 each morning.

Your First Week Information Form will indicate who will pick up your child at 3:30 p.m. Your child can be picked up at the outside kindergarten play area on the west side of the school where they were dropped off in the morning. Your child's educator will release your child to you.
All visitors coming into the school, must report to the office first. There is a table at the front doors where items can be dropped off to be delivered to their child(ren).
Upon arrival, the office staff will be able to assist you or answer any questions.
Please do not pack any lunches or snacks containing peanuts, tree nuts and nut based spreads. Some of our students have life threatening allergies to these products.
Your First Week Information Form will indicate if your child(ren) takes the bus.
Bus students will be provided a bus tag to be attached to their back pack on the first day to school which identifies their bus route and school name.
