French at Home
How can I help my child, even though I do not speak French?
- check the "weekly blog" on a regular basis to keep up to date with what we are learning in the classroom
- if your child is eager to speak French at home, let them be the teacher! Show encouragement and interest
- take advantage of situation to expand your child's exposure to French language (e.g., French television/radio programs, French music, cultural events, books, magazines, movies and games)
- read the "poem of the week" (found on the "poems" tab) with your child nightly
