In our community we focus on fostering a calming work environment, which includes using natural light, Calm Kit materials, soothing background music, and peaceful projected visuals. By cultivating a safe and welcoming learning space, we have less stimulation and more ease in our days.
On a regular basis we 'check out of our day and into ourselves' with Mindful Moments, which is a great way to prioritize our wellness. Students love engaging in this self-care and are encouraged to continue to do so at home =)
