The One and Only Ivan Book Report!
I most definitely recommend this book! This is one of the best books I have ever read because it is such well written and it has such an amazing message. It has amazing characters that you get to know and end up LOVING! From a scale from 1-10 I would definitely rate it an 11!!
I really love this book because it’s about animals. I love to read about all the different animals in the book. I also really love all the other, non animal characters in the book. They are just super nice and thoughtful people. Another thing that is unique in this book, is that there isn’t a bad guy/ villain. I like that because it just makes it so that there isn’t anyone you dislike.
The book is about a lonely gorilla that lives in a run down domain in a mall on the side of the highway. He doesn’t think much about the outside world until a baby elephant moves in to the domain next door. She comes from a circus and tells Ivan all about the world outside and Ivan starts thinking about his future life in the jungle. He wants to go back but how?
