Creative Movement
Leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes must be worn to each class.
Skirts and tutu’s may be worn if they are not a distraction to the child.
Combination Ballet/Tap
Leotard, tights, and dance shoes (pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes required) must be worn to each class.
Skirts and tutu’s may be worn if they are not a distraction to the child.
Dance with Me
Any attire that they feel comfortable to dance in. Such as Leotard, Tights, Capri Pants, Shorts, Shirt, etc. Skirts and tutu’s may be worn if they are not a distraction to the child. Dance Shoes pink ballet shoes and/or sneakers. No open toe shoes.
Ballet and Pre-Pointe/Pointe
Leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes must be worn to each class. A ballet skirt or dance sweater/warmer (made specifically for dance) may be worn over a leotard. Hair must always be pulled back into a ponytail or a bun. Shoes should fit snugly, and strings tucked in.
Tap and Jazz
Leotard and tights, dance pants, dance skirt or unitard of any color must be worn to each class.
Black tap or jazz shoes must also always be worn.
Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.
If pants are worn, they should be capris or dance pants that come just to the ankle. Pants that hang over the shoes are a safety hazard.
Tap dancers should arrive to class in rubber soled shoes that they can warm up in, so they don’t slide around unless the teacher tells them otherwise.
Hip Hop
Leotard, dance pants, capris of any color must be worn to class.
Black hip-hop shoes/jazz sneakers must be worn at all times.
Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.
If pants are worn, they should be capris or dance pants that come just to the ankle.
Pants that hang over the shoes are a safety hazard.
Modern
Leotard and tights, dance pants, dance skirt or unitard of any color must be worn to each class.
Class may be taken in bare feet, but nude foot undeez will be required for recital.
No loose or baggy clothing allowed.
Boys Dance Attire
Fitted t-shirts and pants that allow them to move freely.
Please be sure your pant legs are above the shoes.
Prohibited Dance Attire
Street clothes, jeans, baggy pants, baggy shirts, hair down and jewelry are not acceptable for any class.
In order for the teachers to see movements and/or correct them, these rules must be followed.
These rules will be strictly enforced and failure to do so may result in your child sitting out of class.
All attire changes are subject to the teacher’s discretion.
