Please check-in your school in contest headquarters table in the main office when you arrive. If you have any changes to report, please let us know when you check in.
There is a $5 suggested donation for all spectators. Download the schedule for free from this website. Remember, school codes will be used instead of school names. KNOW YOUR SCHOOL CODE and title of your selections BEFORE you come. Also, leave school apparel at home and remind family and friends to do the same.
WEATHER RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS
If we should have questionable weather, any delays or cancellations will be posted online, emailed to coaches, and broadcasted on KLMJ 104.9, this website, and the IHSSA website . If we know of any problems in advance, we will be in contact with you the day before contest. You may also keep an eye on the IHSSA website. We will delay as a first option, if necessary.
UNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS
Park in the front (601 12th Avenue NE)and unload using the front doors. Parking is available on the north and south sides of the building with entrances on both sides.
CONTEST FEE/PROGRAMS
There will be a $5.00 suggested donation for all guests to the contest as recommended by the IHSSA. As always, performing students and coaches will be admitted at no charge. We would advise you to make copies of your school’s schedule for your students. Please be sure to tell your team's supporters your SCHOOL CODE so they can find your performances.
SCHOOL MAP
The performance centers will be clearly marked and maps of the school will be available on our website. We will be utilizing rooms in the entire school. We recommend you have your students find their performance centers when they arrive at the school to ensure they know where to go.
VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY
Please remind spectators that photography and videotaping during any performance are strictly prohibited
TEAM HEADQUARTERS
The middle school gymnasium will serve as a home base for all students during the day. Please remind students not to bring items that will cause headaches or disrupt the contest. These include basketballs, footballs, and loud music. It is cold in the gym so dress accordingly or bring a blanket.
COMMENT SHEETS
Once all of your ratings have been posted for the entire day, you may pick up your comment sheets in the Contest Headquarters (main office). If you are leaving before all of your ratings are posted, you may leave a self-addressed/stamped envelope in the office and we will gladly send them to you.
RATINGS
Ratings will be posted online and in the gym.
CONTEST SCHEDULE
Remember that performance times are approximate. Please inform your students to let their parents and friends know about this information. We don’t want anyone missing a performance that they want to see. Please make sure that parents are aware of your school code. This will save A LOT of headaches.
Encourage your performers (and their audience) to arrive EARLY. Early is always better than late!

HALLWAYS/NOISE
PLEASE HELP us in patrolling the hallways for noise. We want a contest environment that is conducive to performing. It all boils down to a matter of respect. We feel that we ALL can do a better job while walking by or standing outside of centers. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
