Perceptual Data

The staff at Howells-Dodge Consolidated High School is consistent in their understanding of expectations and responsibilities for the school district. The results of the data show that there is a clear vision for meeting the needs of students. One area that may be lacking is communication with parents about class activities.

There is limited information based on the fact we only have 2 responses to the survey, because we only have K-1 at the Howells site. No clear trends are established by the information provided.

Overall the results show consistent high marks in areas for student achievement and belief that the student learning is a high priority. An area of concern based on this information is a lack of recognition for good work and morale.

The HDC 7-12 Students information provided shows that overall they agree that the education provided is meaningful to their learning. Area of possible concern is that students do not believe they have any control over what they are learning. May need to consider PLP in the future to give more ownership.

The Howells Elementary Students have a belief and feeling that they have a positive experience in the school system. The students have support, feel safe, and treated fairly. One concern may be that they do not have choice in their learning.

The results from the Dodge Elementary site shows some inconsistencies in the students perception. They believe that they have good teachers, are supported and feel safe. Area of concern may be the choices for learning and recognition for student achievement.
