It is a state requirement that each student logs into each course on their first day of school!
After the first day of school, students can work on and finish one course at a time If they are not involved in athletics. Athletes, you must work concurrently on all of your courses in order to maintain athletic eligibility per NIAA Eligibility Regulations.
Take notes as you progress through your assignments: You can use your notes on Final Exams.
Set personal progress goals for yourself and make sure you complete one course every three weeks in order to finish all courses before the end of the semester. This equates to roughly 7% progress completion each school day. 10% progress is achievable and if you finish 10% each school day, you will finish all of your courses with time to spare.
Try to take your final exams as soon as possible after you finish each course so that course content remains fresh in your mind.
Don't hesitate to come to the Distance Ed Classroom if and when you need assistance; we can also work via video conference if you are unable to make it to the office.
The Distance Education Center is open M-F from 7:30 am-3:30 pm and is located in the building just to the left of the District Office at 310 E. 4th Street.
Walk-In Final Exams at the Distance Education Center are accepted from 8 am-2 pm, no appointment is necessary.
We have an open-door policy, which means students and/or parents can come to the Distance Ed Center anytime during normal school hours. There is no need to make an appointment to access the computers and do schoolwork.
Reserve a day and time using the calender above. You will need a computer with a working webcam and a functional microphone. This calendar is for ONLINE VIDEOCONFERENCE EXAMS ONLY!

Relax, it's only an exam, and passing the exam is not required for passing the course. The exam score is averaged into your final grade with all of your other scores. Do your best and ask for a retake if you want one. Your highest score will be the one that is accepted and entered into the gradebook.
