*ALL school rules apply. Keep your hands to yourself, use appropriate language, be respectful of yourself, others and the space/equipment, no phones are allowed, etc. In addition to the school rules, we also expect common sense to be applied at all times.
*Backpacks should be left outside of the locker rooms next to the gym wall. Be sure not to block the walkway or doorway.
*Use your PE locker to store your personal items during class and your PE uniform and/or shoes in between classes. If you forget your locker number or combination, ask your teacher. Be sure that your locker is locked and secured at the end of class.
*Once changed for class, use the restroom and grab a drink of water and then report directly to your designated warm-up location for warm-up exercises and attendance.
*If you are unable to participate in class for that day, a note/email from your parents/guardians informing the teacher is required. You will then be asked to complete an alternative assignment during class. Any assessment that you miss will need to be made up in a timely manner once you are able.
*If you are unable to participate in multiple classes due to an injury, a doctor's note will be required and an alternative learning plan may be put into place. You will be responsible for making up any missed assessments once you are able. Examples of Alternate Plan assignments could include: research report, presentation, projects, etc.
*If absent THREE days in a trimester, you will need to complete a DAILY POINT ARTICLE REFLECTION for each day missed. See your teacher for details.
*Be prepared to do your best each day!
*If you miss a graded run, make-ups will occur before school with Mr. Manu. Mile Runs are completed on the BLACKTOP @ 7:40am. PACER TESTS are completed in the GYM @ 7:55am. If a run is NOT made up, it will be a zero in the gradebook.
No Food or Drink in or around the gym at all
