Professional Learning and Training

The need for professional learning is critical now more than ever as staff must prepare to instruct students both off-campus and in-person. All staff need additional tools to meet student needs. To support staff learning, the district calendar has been revised to provide additional time and support prior to students starting. Specific training information will be provided as we get closer to the start of the school year.

We recognize the importance of supporting families when it comes to education during these challenging times. Families also need access to information and learning ideas, ways to understand the information, and ways to take action to support their children. The district will work with various community partners to provide key resources to help families such as virtual training for families, parent and student tech support, and on-demand “how-to” videos.
