Federal Impact Aid Forms to go home in October
Federal Impact Aid forms will go home to parents in October. Please read this letter to learn the importance of completing and returning these forms to your child's school.
Hoke County Schools' Accreditation Confirmed
Hoke County Schools has received district-wide accreditation from AdvancED following an external review of the school system's processes and procedures in three primary areas: Teaching and Learning Impact, Resource Utilization and Leadership Capacity.
Hoke County Schools performed significantly higher than the national average on each area reviewed. For Teaching and Learning Impact, Hoke County Schools received a score of 319 out of 400, compared to 268 nationally. For Resource Utilization, Hoke County Schools received a score of 347, compared to 286 nationally. For Leadership Capacity, Hoke County Schools received a score of 376, compared to 293 nationally. Hoke County Schools received an overall score of 341, compared to 278 nationally.
The accreditation process serves several purposes. It guarantees that our students are graduating from an accredited school district, it gives families confidence in the education their children are receiving, it lets our community know that we are dedicated to continuous improvement, and it ensures that all of our schools and departments are aligned in our efforts to provide a quality education to our students. Hoke County Schools received its last accreditation in 2012. The district will repeat the accreditation process every five years.
