The Center on PBIS (www.pbis.org) has a plethora of resources and research on PBIS implementation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools have had to modify their PBIS implementation to include remote learning. Please see the research brief below and an example of a remote learning matrix from Rockfish-Hoke Elementary School.
Tier 2 interventions are for students who are identified as being at risk according to the school's data decision rules. These interventions include small group social skills, mentoring, Second Step, Alternative Behavior Educator (ABE), Restorative Circles, Check In Check Out (CICO), and Check and Connect. More information on supplemental interventions can be found at www.pbis.org and the resources below.
Intervention modules for a variety of behaviors can be assigned by administrators, teachers, and support staff in ABE. These modules can be completed independently at home or in school or in the presence of a staff member. Below are pictures of where an intervention can be started and a snapshot of what a student would see when completing an ABE module.

These interventions include Restorative Circles, Check & Connect, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Information on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and BIPs is referenced below.
