Class Expectations & Objectives

Knowledge work is really just craftsmanship. It’s just that what you’re crafting is information and not carved wood. You’re crafting ideas. You’re crafting knowledge out of raw material and the more you think about it like a craftsman, the happier and more satisfied you’ll be, not to mention more successful.

Class Expectations (The 3 B's 🐝)

I once saw these posted in my son's Pre-K classroom. They're simple, but I think they apply to any stage of life)

2. Be Respectful

Respect the people in the room. This includes yourself. Respect who you are and the work you produce.

3. Be Responsible

Take ownership of your learning and the choices you make.

Primary Objective

To ensure that we graduate with the necessary tools to be critical thinkers, functional writers, and fluent readers.
