HOOVER READING BUDDIES VOLUNTEER INFO:

• Hosted by the Hoover Public Library in Hoover, AL

• Open to students in grades 10–12 who are responsible, enthusiastic, and enjoy helping others

• Volunteers are paired one-on-one with young readers in elementary school to help them build reading skills and confidence

• A fantastic way to earn service hours, develop communication skills, and encourage a love of reading in children

• Training is provided before each session to prepare volunteers for working with their buddies
