How You Can Get Involved

Parents and Guardians:

• Signing up for our Sign-Up Genius lists;

• Donations to CHS Theatre via OSP. 

• Fundraising support and opportunity suggestions;

• Tech assistance: 

  • Saturday mornings (10am - 2pm) and Friday afternoons (3pm-5pm on tech afternoon);

  • If you have experience in construction, sewing, painting, design, or just want to lend a helping hand!

• Volunteers for Tickets, Front-of-House, Candy Grams, T-Shirt distribution, Concessions, Food for Cast/Crew/Pit, and more during Productions;

• Water bottle and snack donations for cast/crew/pit throughout production process in the Fall and Spring;

• Marketing for shows - Post, talk, and share our publicity and announcements;

• Donating or lending specific prop, costume, or set items that you may have;

• Organizing other fun events for our students such as Cast/Crew Parties, Get-Togethers, and more.

Opportunities for Your Students:

• Centennial High School offers several Theatre classes:

  • Theatre Arts 1

  • Theatre Company (Advanced Acting and Directing)

  • Musical Theatre Company (Advanced Musical Performance and Directing)

  • Technical Theatre (Semester course, .5 credit)

  • Theatre Apprenticeship (for dedicated Theatre students seeking research and education opportunities)

• Summer Theatre programming including a Summer production and professionally-run workshops. 

• College Audition Support and Coaching;

• Technical theatre skills including set construction, light design and engineering, sound engineering, costuming and sewing, and more. 

• Stage management, directorial, or production management training and responsibilities for students;

• Potential Internship, Student Educator, and/or Summer Performance Groups.
