Getting to the Nether

The nether is an unforgiving place. It has lots of hostile mobs and even more lava. To get there, you need at least ten pieces of obsidian. Put the obsidian in the formation in the picture and get one piece of iron, and one piece of flint and put them together in a crafting table. Light the portal with the flint and steel and walk through the purple spirals. Once you are in the nether, you will be greeted with fire, and mobs. Make sure you have good tools and armor, or you won't last long. Another very important thing is to make sure you don't lose the portal. If you do, you'll have to find ten more pieces of obsidian and light it with the flint and steel. You can actually light anything with a flint and steel,  and netherrack burns for ever with out stopping.
