The Portuguese man of war is 12 inches from side to side (of its body). This jellyfish is translucent. That means it is see-through. This jellyfish is usually pink or purple. They float in the surface of the water. This jellyfish has invisible extensible tentacles that can extend out 160 feet. It can produce an extremely painful sting. You will occasionally find it in the Caribbean.
