The Cyclopes (singular: Cyclops) were gigantic, one-eyed beings with enormous strength. Originally, there were three of them Arges, Steropes, and Brontes and they were all capable blacksmiths. The three cyclopes brothers Brontes, Steropes, and Arges, made  Zeus his weapon the thunderbolt.
