HCPSS will offer its free summer meal program weekdays June 23-Aug. 1 (except July 4) from 12:30-2 p.m. at locations across Howard County. Open to all HCPSS students and any children ages 18 and under, there are no applications, enrollment or fees to participate in this program, however children must be present to receive free meals. Free meals also will be provided to all students participating in HCPSS summer programs.
All HCPSS Pride Week activities have been posted on the HCPSS Pride Website. These are after hours and partner activities for students and/ families to participate in if they choose. Pride Prom, scheduled for June 7th, is open for registration and is open to all current HCPSS high school students.
Hammond Boosters is offering one-week camps for incoming 5th-9th graders at the high school starting in June. Click here to sign up.
HCC will be providing a Babysitting certification course for those students interested in babysitting or getting your babysitting license. See flier attached for more information!
Southwest Airlines Team here in Baltimore Washington International Airport are continuing to hire Ramp Agents throughout the spring and summer months. Ramp Agent works outdoors and load and offload baggage from our aircraft. The Ramp Agent role is a great entry level role to start a career in aviation as many of our Leaders started their careers with SWA as a Ramp Agent.
Primary requirements are:
Valid Driver’s License (no learners permits)
18 years old at the time of application
Work Outdoors and able to lift 70lbs repetitively

Law Days of Summer is for high school or post high school students interested in law or legal related fields. This is an opportunity to watch court cases, and meet and learn from judges. Lawyers and other court partners. This event will take place on the following dates: June 24th (Tues.), July 9th (Wed.), July 22nd (Tues.), August 6 (Wed.).

8:45- 11:30 - Court Observation
11:30 - Lunch
12:00-1:30 Speaker Panel

As we head into the winter months, families are reminded that in emergency situations (including inclement weather), information will be shared with the community only through the HCPSS website, email and text, Twitter/X and the HCPSS weather hotline. Be sure your Family File is up to date and that you have opted into texts to receive emergency messages.
Boosters support all athletics, clubs and the purchase of things the school needs that the county will not provide — for example, the digital sign in the front of the school, flags on the light posts, instruments for the marching band, theater support and the sound system and foggers.
