No experience necessary - A performance-based course that offers students an introduction to the process and production of theater. Play improv games, perform in short plays, design characters, costumes, and other scenic elements.

No experience necessary - A course for students with and without disabilities to gain knowledge, experience, and skills in beginning levels of theatre and creative expression in a collaborative and cooperative environment. Activities are designed to promote memory/recall, body awareness, vocal technique, and performance etiquette while also exploring leadership, communication, listening. and critical thinking skills to provide support in an inclusive environment.

In this semester course, students design and construct the technical elements involved in theatrical productions. Students learn storytelling and design principles and apply them to set, lighting, props, sound, costume, and marketing.

Theatre creation, portfolio development, independent research, task commitment, and special topics related to Theatre are the focus of apprenticeship. Much of the class time is devoted to production tasks connected to co-curricular productions. Performance components beyond the regular school day is required.
