7th Grade Band CURRICULUM GOALS
Minimum of 180 Full Days of 40 Minute Class Instruction• Major Scales: F, Bb, Eb, Ab (2 Octaves)
- Chromatic Range Development: Concert F-F (2 Octaves)
- Method Book Reading/Rhythmic Ability: Complete Level 2 Book
- Concert Music: Will sight read perform music in Grade Levels I and II at a minimum of 2 Public Concerts
Playing Test 1st 9 Weeks:
- F, Bb, Eb, and Ab Major Scales 1 Octave (Review from 6th)
- Chromatic Scale in Assigned Ranges
- Selected Exercises or Music
