The Career Counselors provide students with opportunities and resources for educational planning and career exploration. Hanover County Career Counselors not only support students at their assigned high school but also facilitate county-wide events for all HCPS students. College, Military, and Technical Visits
Individual representatives from these organizations schedule visits throughout the school year at each high school to share information with students about their program offerings and admissions.
Fairs & Expos
These countywide events happening throughout the year. Representatives from colleges, local businesses and organizations gather to meet with HCPS families and share a variety of college and career opportunities.
Career Cafes
Events at each high school feature employers from the community. They focus on a variety of Career Clusters and Pathways.
