Academy Staff

Ihsan Academy operates with full autonomy with the strategic and group providing full strategic support, accountability and governance for the academy. This group along with the management is responsible for ensuring the academy’s vision and mission is fulfilled. The chair acts as a line manager to the Head of Academy, providing full support and strategic guidance to the management of the academy.

Ihsan Academy believes in supporting every student's needs and so every class has a lead teacher and a teacher assistant. The role of the main teacher is to provide and supervise teaching and manage the learning, whereas the role of the assistant is to constantly engage with students to ensure their understanding and engagement. Both the lead teachers and teacher assistants work very closely to monitor and assess progress and where required provide one-to-one support to students’. All lead teachers are native Arabic speakers and have long standing teaching experience and are qualified in their respective disciplines.

Safeguarding the safety and welfare of students and staff whilst at Ihsan Academy is a fundamental responsibility of the safeguarding and welfare team. A comprehensive ‘Safeguarding Policy’ is established to ensure full guidance and support to ensure all aspects of safety and welfare of students and staff are considered. The team meetings in a regular basis and reviews any safeguarding or safety issues. The team is supported by the Strategic Group and is fully accountable to the group.
