Ihsan Academy is a charitable, educational project of HCLA. It was established in February 2018. The Academy provides a broad range of Islamic curricula for children from the age of 5 to 16 years. The Academy currently runs three classes with over 40 students. All our teachers are fully skilled and are native Arabic speakers. The curriculum delivered at Ihsan Academy includes:

• Arabic Language - Speaking, reading and writing

• Islamic Studies - Aqeedah, Qur'an tafseer, Ahadith, Fiqh, Seerah, Ahlaq and Adab

• Qur'an Recitation - Tajweed, general recitation and memorising Juz 'Amm

• Life skills, self-discipline and self-confidence - developing social skills

• Plus extra-curricular activities - Focus on ahlaq and sports activities

Our courses are accessible to anyone wishing to develop knowledge and understanding of the above subjects and are not required to be of Muslim faith. Ihsan Academy was established due to the demand in our community to develop more understanding and awareness of Islam. Besides inculcating Islamic values, we also aim to address misunderstanding and misconceptions of Islam among our young people. Such education is essential to tackle extremist and harmful ideologies that are detrimental to our community and society at large.
