Course Schedule 2026-2027:
Dear Students and Parents,
Whether you’re a student ready to explore the exciting world of mathematics or a parent eager to support your child’s journey, I am excited to embark on this adventure together.
In math class, we will not only tackle equations and theorems but also develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of mathematics. The goal is to make math both accessible and enjoyable, showing its relevance in everyday life and beyond.
I earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Rice University. I earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from University of Houston and a Master of Arts degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University.
I have been teaching at Harlingen South since August 2019. I have been teaching dual credit classes with Texas Southmost College since January 2020. I have been teaching high school math since August 1997 and have been teaching dual credit classes since January 2017.
For students, the course will be filled with opportunities to challenge yourselves, ask questions, and collaborate with your peers. Remember, mistakes are a part of the learning process, and every problem we solve together helps us grow.
