Virtual Meet the Teacher
What to Do the First Day of School
ALL students, including Remote Learning, Face-to-Face, and Hybrid students, will be having instructional days that include many of the typical exercises at the beginning of a school year and standard instructional time starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
All students will be virtual learners from September 8th thru October 2nd. Students and staff will be utilizing the Google Classroom platform. Our current plan has students transitioning to their chosen Learning Pathways beginning October 5, 2020.
Here is what all students/parents need to do to be ready for Tuesday, September 8, 2020, before Advisory/First period starts at 7:50 AM:
Make sure you have a copy of your student schedule—you can access student schedules via our Parent Access Center.
Your student schedule will show a Zoom link next to each teachers’ names.
It is strongly encouraged that students have their district student email set up prior to September 8, 2020 (for instructions on how to do this, please visit our Coakley website and look under Resources tab then For Students).
On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, look at the Coakley Bell Schedule to see when each class starts.
At 7:50 AM, join the Zoom session for your first period class.
While in first period, your teacher will show you how to create your Google Classroom account and join all of your classes. You will need your district student email.
