Humanities Research Symposium for Youth

The annual Humanities Research Symposium for Youth is a collaboration between Citipointe Christian College (Australia), Diocesan Girls' School (Hong Kong), Bugil Academy, (South Korea), and Hwa Chong Institution.

Last year, HCI attended the 11th edition of the symposium, organised by Citipointe Christian College. The theme was "Discord and Unity".

This year, the symposium will be hosted in Cheonan, South Korea, with the theme: "Insight and Obscurity".

Humanities-in-Focus

Organise Humanities Quizzes for high-performing and interested Secondary 2 students.

Humanities Series

Select and invite speakers from research, industry, and government who can shed new light on critical issues confronting the world today.

International Friendship Day

Set up informative displays and organise enlightening talks to share with the school population on geopolitical ties and diplomacy.

Earth Week

Collaborate with Green Council to create meaningful quizzes to help every Hwa Chongian become a Green Steward!

High School Open House Booth

Share about Humanities Programme with prospective Secondary 1 students - with our candy floss machine, we add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this event.

Humanities in Celebration

At the end of each academic year, we celebrate the various disciplines of the Humanities, through the medium of the performing arts. This year's Humanities in Celebration would be built around the theme, "Persona". Be ready for an exciting night of unmasking and uncomfortable re-cognitions.
