All candidates are required to attend the exam based on the exam schedule stated on the Statement of Entry (SOE) sent by the British Council.
1. Starting time for Cambridge IGCSE® papers are categorized into TWO sessions:
AM - 09:00 AM
PM - 01:00 PM
(If two papers fall into the same session, a 15-minute supervised break will be given in between both papers.)
2. Wear full school uniform to attend the examination. A coat/jacket is acceptable to wear in the exam hall. Do not bring any valuable item to the school.
3. Use Gate A to the enter school compound. It is advisable to wear a face mask at all times. Prepare two spare masks if necessary.
4. Arrive at the school at the following hours:
AM paper - 07:30 AM
PM paper - 11:30 AM
5. Reporting venues are as follows:
SE21, SE22, SE23 - MPH
CE21, CE22 - CE21 Classroom
6. Once you have arrived at the reporting venues, see the on-duty teachers to mark your attendance. Stay at the reporting venue until you are called to enter the exam hall. Entering the hall will usually commence 60 minutes before the starting time of your exam(depends on the total number of the candidates of the subject).
7. Do not eat inside the reporting venues. You may have your meal at the school canteen. No outside food (except for home-prepared food) or drink (except your water bottle) is allowed inside the school compound.
8. Leave all your personal belongings at your classroom when proceed to the exam venue.
9. As required by the examination board, all candidates must be in the exam hall 15 minutes before the starting time of your exam.
10. Do not arrive late! In case of unforeseen circumstances (late, sick etc.), kindly contact school/form teacher immediately.
11. TWO important documents that you MUST bring are:
I. Original national identity card or Passport
II. Statement of Entry
(Printed on a single side clean A4 size paper. Do not write anything on the statement.)
12. Check and empty all pockets before entering the exam hall. It is advisable to wear a face mask.
13. Bring your own stationery. Write your answers in blue or black ink using a ballpoint pen. Correction fluid/pen/tape, highlighter, cellphone and watches are not allowed.
14. Things that are not allowed to bring inside the exam hall:
I. “Notice to Candidates” paper
II. Cover of national identity card or Passport
III. Cover of eraser or rubber
IV. Cover of tissue paper and label of water bottle
V. Currency note and coin
VI. Any other transparent folder or file
15. Both pencil cases and water tumbler have to be transparent. You may use a transparent white color plastic bag to keep your stationery.
16. In the use of calculator:
I. Both normal/scientific calculators are allowed only for subjects that are required.
II. Calculator must be silent, with a visual display only.
III. Information (test or formulae) stored in the calculator’s memory must be cleared.
IV. Cover of calculator is not allowed.
17. If found out if any of the invigilators are related to you, please inform the school.
18. During the collection of test paper, you are not allowed to communicate with other candidates. Even though your test paper has been collected.
19. All candidates are highly advised to stay at home to do revision. Limit social gatherings and time spent in crowded places. Eat healthily and rest well.
20. If you are tested Covid-19 positive or influenze, inform the school immediately for further instructions.
21. During your study week, if you plan to return to the school during NON-examination days, you are required to wear your PE-shirt, with long pants and covered shoes.
