I served in the US Navy for (12 years) - onboard submarines, where I discovered my joy of teaching and became a Naval Instructor. I left the service in May 1997 and joined Motoman in Dec 1999. I started as a Robotics Instructor and quickly worked through the ranks to where I am now as the Sr. Manager, Technical Training, who is directly in charge of Yaskawa Academy HQ but oversees all of the Americas. My combined experience in the field of teaching is 31 years. In early 2009, it was a pivot for everyone including myself, to think outside the box.
