Charles Anderson - Manager of Officiating joined the OHSAA in April of 2021. Before joining the OHSAA, he was with the Ohio State University Department of Recreational Sports for 13 years. He helped manage one of the country's largest college intramural and club sports programs, including more than 40 intramural sports and 59 club sports, with more than 22,000 participants.

Anderson also worked for the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, the University of Illinois, and the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the OSU football and basketball game day operations staff and is an OHSAA-certified officials instructor for football and basketball.

He is a proud graduate of Ohio University and received a master’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Kyle Armstrong is a founder and co-founder of numerous businesses primarily focused on the technology industry. Having coached and worked with dozens of other startups, he enjoys speaking to young aspiring entrepreneurs about the “Waves” of entrepreneurial life.

His latest venture, RefReps, is an Indiana-based education technology company. They launched their “Intro to Sports Officiating” education initiative in 2022. On a mission to help the world see the game through the eyes of officials, RefReps provides coursework and materials to equip schools, colleges, and organizations with the tools needed to teach the pillars of officiating.

With a standardized course curriculum, RefReps is making a significant impact by addressing the national officiating shortage and helping the next generation understand the importance of, and need for, great sports officials.

Follow RefReps on Twitter/X @RefReps, Instagram @refrepsplay, and Facebook.

Caleb Lovelace graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUl) and is another entrepreneur at heart. He finds motivation in growing his network and says, "RefReps has opened an avenue of being able to do this on an entirely new level." It's no wonder that Caleb placed top 25 in a national sales competition at Baylor University. When Caleb steps away from his phone and laptop, you can find him golfing to decompress.

Dr. David Pillar has been a teacher, coach, athletic director, high school assistant principal, and middle school principal during his 20+ years in education. With degrees from Ball State University, Indiana Wesleyan, and Indiana University, where he was a student manager for Coach Bob Knight, Dr. Pillar was a 2006 Monroe County Educator of the Year and the 2014 Indiana District 9 Middle School Principal of the Year. In over 20 years of officiating basketball in Indiana, Dr. Pillar has worked four Girls State Finals (2012, 2015, 2019, 2023) and three Boys State Finals (2012, 2015, 2019, 2023), as well as serving as an IHSAA basketball rules clinician. Dr. Pillar lives in Danville, Indiana, with his wife and three children.
