Here, in the HUB, we engage in everything from learning how to do research, vet our sources, and become great listeners, all the way to hosting events like Chorus concerts, the afternoon tutoring and Leos program, and even some ping pong!
My name is Mrs. May, and despite not graduating from Red Bank High, I absolutely adore Red Bank High! I have my degree from Tennessee Tech (WINGS UP!), and my favorite part about librarianship is the research. Books are great and all, but I really appreciate being well informed on the happenings around me. I am married with 2 cats and a pupper named Wendigo. My first job was as a basic vehicle technician, so I am not afraid to work on my own vehicles if need be! I strive to be a warm demander while still making sure that the HUB is a safe space for all who enter it.
I graduated from Tennessee Tech with my Elementary Education Bachelor's degree in teaching in 2022, and then followed through to get my Master's degree in Library and Information Science in 2025!
I have been qualified to teach in the Library per the state of Tennessee since March of 2025.
