Athletic Forms

All students must meet TMSAA Eligibility requirements to compete in athletics for ERMS


Starting school year (2021-2022), the following academic requirements for Middle School sports will be implemented


A student cannot fail 2 or more classes to be eligible. This is the same as in previous years.

 

Any student who is academically promoted to the next grade level will be eligible to compete in athletics the first semester starting the following school year. 


This will be based on year end averages. 


A student can attend summer REACH program to gain eligibility for the upcoming school year


If a student doesn't fail 2 or more classes the first semester (1st and 2nd quarter averages in each academic class), the student will be eligible the entire second semester. 


A student who fails 2 or more classes (1st and 2nd quarter averages in each academic class) will be ineligible the entire second semester. 


All 6th grade students (those not retained) are automatically eligible the first semester. 


The following forms must be completed before you can begin participation in a school sport:

*HCDE has made signing forms much more convenient through the new county portal for athletic forms. Using the FinalForms website, a parent/guardian is now able to add students, select sports, and sign forms.
