The Emerging Business Leaders club is honored to be working with the Massachusetts Society of CPA's to host our Demystifying Accounting Speaker Series. Join us in our hour together as we explore different specializations in accounting (i.e. forensics, industry, governance) with some of Western Mass's finest accountants. 

From talking about their own personal stories, moments of doubt and triumph, and parting advice for anyone thinking about pursuing a career in accounting.

This event will take place in Kittredge 418 during Activity Period (from 11am - 12:15pm) on April 24th, 2024 (4/24/24).

The Emerging Business Leaders club is honored to host Mayor Will Reichelt of West Springfield, President Dave Condon of Northeast Security Solutions, and Owner Dylan Pilon of Cloud 9 Marketing Group. All HCC Alumni, students will be able to pick the brains of these unique leaders, who all started here once upon a time.

From addressing the trials and challenges of being a leader, to how to harness the leader in everyone, come join us for an hour of leadership theory and empowerment!

Anxious on improving your interview skills? Wanting to practice for that one big interview down the line? Want to learn how to give a great interview?

The Emerging Business Leaders club is hosting a Mock Interviews session on November 29th (11/29/23) that invites 30 employers from around Western Mass to allow students the chance to sharpen their interviewing skills. 

Students will be interviewed for 10 minutes, with a 5 minute follow-up feedback session before rotating to the next employer. Not only do students get to make connections with real, hiring employers, but they are able to nail down what makes an interview a strong one.
