Do You Need Support with Your Everyday Work and Experiences as an Educator? We are happy to help!
The Holyoke Community College CDA Plus program is funded by the Department of Early Education & Care. To be eligible, students must be employed 20+ hours per week in a Massachusetts licensed EEC center-based program, licensed exempt program, or family child care. If not working, students have up to six months to find work in the field. Students must also be eligible for Developmental English II. This program has classes on campus and online. Students must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to take on-campus classes.
The 18 credits earned in the CDA program can be stacked into an Associate of Science in Early Education & Care. Students will also be ready to apply for their CDA credential through the Council for Professional Recognition. By the end of the program, students will be eligible to apply for Lead Teacher Certification through EEC.
