As funding allows, HCC ACE is pleased to offer scholarships to support you as you advance in your career through job training or college.
Requirements
In order to be considered for the ACE scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
Attend 85% of classes during their program
Complete final portfolio project
Participate actively in class
Complete the whole program (12 weeks)
Complete homework weekly
Share career and education updates and accomplishments with ACE staff after graduation
The ACE scholarship is granted to selected students as funding allows. Typically only one scholarship is awarded per student, ranging from $200-$750. Scholarship amounts are subject to change based on funding availability. The scholarship is awarded following the conclusion of the program.
Steps
We recommend the following steps as you prepare your application:
Research the course, training program, or other expense you would like the scholarship to cover. Speak with your advisor about how this will help you towards your goal. Review your selection together.
When you have identified a program or vendor, submit the scholarship application. You will be asked to share:
What program are you applying for? Please include as many details as possible: the name of the certificate or degree, the name of the education/training provider.
Why did you select this program? How does this align with your career path? Why is the program a good fit for you? Include as much detail as possible in your answer

When you are ready, complete the Scholarship Application. Scholarships typically take 1-2 months to process fully. Most scholarships are processed as a reimbursement to you, although other options are available. We recommend you do not spend money until you know your scholarship has been approved.
