The safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance at West High School. This page will provide some insight on the protocols that will be in place to ensure that the members of the Trojan Nation may remain as safe as possible while attending school. There is a Google Form at the bottom of the page that will allow parents to ask additional questions that may not be answered below. Please understand that in our current environment some of these procedures may change at the last minute. We will attempt to communicate any changes if and when they happen.

Students will be required to wear a mask as they approach and enter the building. Temperatures will be taken for all students that come to school on foot or in a personal vehicle at one of four different entrances. Students that come to school with a parent will have their temperatures taken before they get out of their car. Bus riders will have their temperatures taken as they get on the bus each morning. A temperature of 100.4 or higher will require students and staff to return home or be isolated until a guardian can pick them up.

Students will have access to universal breakfast and lunch every school day. This means that these meals will not cost families anything through December 2020. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for families of online students to pick up a hot meal and a grab-and-go breakfast each day. Details on that procedure will be sent out via student email and our social media platforms in the coming days.
