Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with friends and family! I married my very own Prince Charming on New Year's Day of 2022, so it's not uncommon to still hear a previous student call me Ms. Tyler. We are proud dog parents to a sweet rescue pup named Pippa, and we definitely spoil her too much. Additionally, we welcomed our first child, a baby boy, this past October!

 Our favorite place to visit together is Universal Orlando because we are huge Harry Potter fans. In fact, I introduced him to Harry Potter, and he ended up proposing on the bridge that gives a beautiful view to Hogwarts Castle! All of the team members were shocked to see a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff get engaged, but no matter our Hogwarts Houses, we are completely meant to be. We love adventuring together, but we also love a night in with ice cream and a puzzle!

Family is a huge part of my life, and I love spending quality time with them, whether it is crafting with my mom or cheering on the Braves with my dad. My best friend is basically my sister, and we love to go on adventures together wherever we can, but especially to Ashville, North Carolina. She also contributes to my classroom by creating beautiful artwork and decor pieces that get put up on the classroom walls. 

If I'm relaxing, I can be found painting, reading, gardening, watching FRIENDS or something true crime, or creating something, always with my Pippa pup by my side!
