Our intent of the Careers Curriculum is to provide a stable careers programme where all students are given the opportunity to prepare for their transition into the world of work. We are increasing opportunities for students to meet employers and employees to expand their horizons. There are a number of careers initiatives taking place including Career of the Week which is linked to local labour market information and half termly newsletters with careers information for students, parents/carers and staff. This is delivered alongside information about employability skills and getting students ready for the work environment.

We also support our 6th form students in making informed decisions about university through higher education visits and tours. In addition, those students who are not considering a university route are provided with support on employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
