PSAT

All 11th graders will take the PSAT

on January 26, 2021


The PSAT is a test that many juniors and sophomores take to determine how they will perform on the SAT and even ACT tests. The PSAT test scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.

Dual Enrollment

Earn College Credit While You're Still in High School

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology

Earn college credits while still in high school through our Dual Enrollment program. You’ll be introduced to the college environment where you can explore majors and get a head start on a Bachelor of Science degree. There is no application deadline.

To apply for dual enrollment:

  • Complete the Common Application on Naviance.

  • Submit an official high school transcript showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.

  • Successfully complete the placement exam administered by the University, as required.

  • Submit consent forms from high school counselling/ principal’s office and parent or legal guardian.

  • If your native language is not English, submitscores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

HACC

Do you want to start earning college credits while you are in high school? HACC offers dual enrollment options for high school students looking to enhance their academic profile, save money on a future bachelor's degree or just get a jump start on life after graduation.

Our Dual Enrollment program gives qualified high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to receive high school and college credit at the same time. Courses are offered at a reduced rate of $125 per credit!

Your high school must recommend you for the program, and you must meet course prerequisites through HACC's placement testing, SAT or ACT test scores.
