Hello 2nd graders and families! My name is Miss Christ and this is my 5th year as a 2nd grade teacher. I am beyond excited to start the school year and am looking forward to meeting everyone very soon. 

Some fun facts about me:

• My favorite place to be (besides school) is at the beach! 🌊

• I graduated college from DeSales University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. 

• In college, I played basketball! 🏀 I now am the Assisstant Varsity Coach at Raritan High School. I also coach the Freshman Volleyball team at RHS.

• I was a 2nd grader at Middle Road Elementary School too! Below, you can see my little sister and I posing on our first day of school outside of the building! 😊 

• I have a dog named Stella! 🦴🐶

• This is my LAST year with my name "Miss Christ". After February of 2027, I will now be "Mrs. Principe" ❤️

• My favorite color is purple 💜

• My mom is a 5th grade teacher at Beers Street School!
