Hello 2nd graders and families! My name is Miss Christ and this is my 6th year as a 2nd grade teacher. I am beyond excited to start the school year and am looking forward to meeting everyone very soon. 

Some fun facts about me:

• Undergraduate: Early Childhood Education, DeSales University

• Graduate: Master's in Special Education, Rider University

• In college, I played basketball! 🏀 I now am the JV Coach at Raritan High School. I also coach the Varsity Volleyball team at RHS. We've won two State Championships!

• I was a 2nd grader at Middle Road Elementary School too! ☀️

• I have a pitbull/lab mix named Walter! 🦴🐶

• This is my LAST year as "Miss Christ". After February of 2027, I will now be "Mrs. Principe" ❤️

• My favorite color is purple 💜

• My mom is a 5th grade teacher at Beers Street School! My little sister is a school psychologist here in Hazlet as well!
