My name is Jessica Smith and I am so excited to start my third year of teaching. I graduated from Monmouth University in 2021 with my bachelors in English & Education K-6 and then again in 2022 with my masters in Teaching Students with Disabilities. I started my journey at Middle Road in 2019 completing a college course and observation hours with Mrs. Grabowski. The 2019-2020 school year I completed observation hours with Mrs. Nicholl. The 2020-2021 school year I completed my student teaching in 4th grade with Mrs. Lawrence. The 2021-2022 school year I completed a long term substitute position teaching 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade math resource for seven weeks. Following this, I continued to daily sub throughout the year in many different positions. The 2022-2023 school year I was a long term substitute for the entire school year teaching Technology & Enrichment at MRS. The 2023-2024 school year I was a second grade teacher at MRS. The 2024-2025 school year I was a 4th grade resource teacher at RVS and 2nd grade resource teacher at MRS. This year I am excited to be at Lillian Drive teaching your children. Fun fact, LDS is the first school in Hazlet that I went to as a child in the 4th grade. My 4th grade teacher was Mrs. Clark, who will be your child's computer teacher.
