COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR 24/25 SY
If you had symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19
In St. Louis County, if you have COVID-19, you are required to:
Isolate yourself, and
Tell your close contacts , and
Follow the St. Louis County Isolation Guidelines.
When Does My Home Isolation End?
At least 5 days have passed since your symptoms first started, and
You have had no fever for at least 24 hours (without the use of medicine that reduces fevers), and
You do not have a runny nose, and
You have no more than a minimal, non-productive cough (i.e., not disruptive to work and does not stop you from wearing a mask continuously, you are not coughing up phlegm), and
Your symptoms have improved.
After your symptoms have resolved, you may leave your house while wearing a mask if around others. You must wear a mask for 10 days after you are tested.

Returning Student Registration
Returning preschool to 12th-grade students will need to register for the 2024-2025 school year on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you have questions, please contact your student’s school. Hazelwood West High School
New Student Enrollment
New Kindergarten to 12th-grade students to Hazelwood School District will need to visit the Student Enrollment webpage to begin the enrollment process. If you have questions, visit the Student Enrollment webpage or contact Residency at residency@hazelwoodschools.org or call 314-953-5141.
ASTHMA
NEED ADDITIONAL HELP The Asthma and Allergy Foundation BREATH program assists families with co-pays and equipment related to asthma and allergies for those under the age of 22. Details about the program and additional information about face-to-face learning for families with questions or concerns about asthma, allergies, mask usage, and medications can be found in the following links:

Staying Healthy
- Exercising is a good way of keeping healthy. It gives your body a better shape. It reduces your risk of developing certain diseases. Exercising makes the body produce endorphins: chemicals that make you feel peaceful and happy.
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Brush your teeth after meals.
- Have a balanced diet. Eat lots of fresh vegetables, fruit and food rich in fiber every day. Fats, oils and sweets should always be eaten in small quantities.
- You should have a medical check up once a year. The doctor will be able to diagnose and spot any illnesses.
- Wash your hands after using the bathroom and before you eat.
- Take a rest from all your hard work. Rest and relaxation are good for your health.
- Some habits are bad for your health, such as smoking and drinking alcohol.
- Take showers regularly.
